It is true that games are a popular topic for distribution on YouTube, Twitch, etc., but there is also a lot of content in the world that is distributed secondarily using content other than games and is making a profit.

It is true that games are often used for distribution, but if the profits generated from game distribution are to be returned to developers, it may be necessary to treat non-game productions in the same way.

My personal opinion is that it is extremely difficult for platforms to systematically return profits from game distribution. This is because profits are low to begin with, the system is complex, and it is difficult to deal with miscellaneous copyrighted works other than games.
If you release a game into the world, the more popular it becomes, the more likely it will be distributed. I think it would be better for developers to take advantage of this situation, assume this from the beginning, and release the game as such.
